10:33 pm - One last one before vacation. Odds are I won't be on tomorrow so this will be the last post before I leave Sunday morning. I'm actually going to keep a paper journal this time (at least on the car ride, as I'm bringing my mom's laptop along...). I'm kind of hesitant about the long car ride with the "mixed family" (my dad remarried, for those of you not in the know), but I suppose I can't do much about that. 01:08 am - Live Journal: Last resort of those trying to stay awake. I'm currently awake and inhabiting the interweb-realm because I'm downloading Kobashi vs. Jumbo from 8/31/90 (yea, I americanized the date, fucker.) because I decided i would. I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow. I'm staying awake by reading Edenborn by Nick Sagan (Idlewild's sequel, which I planned to read on vacation) and watching VH1 Classic. I'm such a dork. Work went well tonight, not that anyone cares. I've gotten all of one comment since my "triumphant return", so I'm starting to remember why I left. But, whatever. 11:49 pm - "You tell me that I'm better... You just hate yourself!" Okay, I take great pride in the fact that I do my job (mundane and uninspired as though it may be) very well. I will not hesitate to tell you that I am the best host we have. (I've been told as much by two seperate managers, so I'm not talking out of my ass). Yet some people at work think that I actually have an ego problem. Sometimes I'll PLAY like I have an ego problem, just looking for laughs, but some people got legit pissed at me tonight thinking I have a huge ego. I don't. But you know what, after tonight, I have a little bit of a right to have one. We have Specialists. Means they're the best of what their position is. Tonight, after a few months of me pushing to become one, my Boss decided to make me one. He didn't have to. He could have given me a regular shirt like everyone else, but when I asked (Half jokingly) for a specailist shirt, he gave me one. I have to meet with him friday to finalize it, but fuck the haters, I'm a fucking specialist and the best Host we have. Fuck anyone who tries to stop me. 09:36 pm - Gah. I did nothing today. Today I was lazy. Aside from a few situps I griped about doing I did nothing. Well, I went to Media Play and got Sin City (on DVD) and America (The Book). Sin City is as great as I recall it. America the book is badical too. I am now getting my ass kicked at Poker. Tomorrow work. 10:09 pm - Everyone starts somewhere. I started with 20 minutes on an eliptical machine and some very basic weight lifting. Then shot some hoops (quite poorly, as I was blown up like Chris Masters in a 60 minute broadway ((Sorry Dave...)). Then colapsed in a heap. Then came home and came on here. 09:26 pm - I'm too cool for BD's... But I stay anyway. So I've decided to keep both this and Xanga (if you don't like it, fuck off and read someone elses ramblings, asshole). I'll update this mostly with Wrestling and work stuff, and my other one with more music and school stuff. Major life happenings will get cross posted, most likely. So today was some "Employee Apprication Day" to celebrate teh store's 1 Year of business. I went and chilled and had free food. I'm saddened by the fact that Vian, a girl who I actually have come to have a slight thing for, is leaving for good. Working tomorrow morning because someone called off and what can I say, I'm a locker room... er... Kitchen(?) leader. Ordered the ROH 3YA part 1 and 2 shows. 04:33 pm - I don't wanna go to school tomorrow. It's not a proposition I'm looking foreward to. But we must do what we must. I got the 1602 Hardcover, finally. It was well worth the wait. It's quite awesome, and I think I like it better than Hush. Question, how does Jerry Only pass the M25 tour off as A Misfits tour? Seriously... And now it's looking like AFI's new album is gonna be Late Summer, at the EARLIEST. Sigh. I've had this thingy for nearly a year. And since I'm such an attention whore, I now have three... 02:30 pm - Back~! Yea. Between the snow and the rain and stuff, our phone service has been wonky. Aint it fun? I'm fine, as we all are. Happy new year, by the way. Rather than try to remember everything that has happened recently, I'll just say I've been fine, still no girl (shocking!) and uh.... I've been fine. lol. My life in a nutshell. I did end up buying Black Sails in the Sunset. Not quite as good as Art of Drowning or StS in my opinon, but still has some good tracks. The sound is there, but not quite as polished as it would get on AoD, which is still my fave AFI album. How have I been keeping myself busy without a phone connection? Writing. Songs. Lots of songs. Not too many are what I'd call "good" or even "Decent" but hey, I'm getting there. Still no real guitar player in our band. I'm gonna be taking lessongs though, but a real one would be nice. Still no drummer either. ::shrug:: We also need a logo. My week looks liek this for the next few months. Friday Saturday and Sunday I work, Monday is my day to myself, and Tues, Wens, and Thursday I'm helping out at the rec. center right by my house to get my school required community service out of the way. Plus it's fun keeping score and doing running commentary. last night "The Mustard has fallen off the hotdog" was muttered. Oh yes. My circle of friends at school is getting bigger. Awesome, no? 11:03 am - What a day. First off, let me say that I'm really saddened by Reggie Whites death. I'm a HUGE Packers fan and it really sucks that he died. So work yesterday went well. It was really slow. So slow that I was left in charge of the HOsts Stand for the last hour or so. Kinda flirted with this girl. She was eighteen and in college. Teehee. And I get home to see Joe Lost the title. I was shocked. Still am, sorta. But three cheers for Aries and one HELLA BIG amount of Streamers for everyone's faveorite Samoan Asskicker.
